Martha is the author of several books, numerous papers and several patents. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from MIT. She is a member of the Executive Board of MIT’s Sloan School of Management, the MIT Sloan Visiting Committee, a Senior Fellow at the Milken Institute, and the boards of Growth Sector and Every Voice Engaged.
VICE PRESIDENT ENGINEERING & CHIEF DATA SCIENTIST
As Vice President of Engineering, Sandra leads WattzOn’s software development team, ensuring rapid iteration and releases using agile software development. Previously Sandra was VP of Engineering at a number of startups. She has also been in engineering management at AT&T Bell Labs, Aurigin and AT&T Labs.
As Chief Data Scientist, Sandra invented WattzOn’s GLYNT machine learning product, which extracts data trapped in complex documents. In addition, Sandra built WattzOn’s library of machine learning algorithms to exploit smart meter, solar, thermostat, and other highly-granular data.
Peter Wexler is an experienced investor and entrepreneur. He was a co-founder and member of the board at Spidercloud Wireless (acquired by Corning) and VP of Engineering and Product Operations at Stoke. Previously Peter was VP of Engineering at Juniper Networks, and a Director of the Ericsson-Juniper joint venture company.
Former Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewables at the U.S. Department of Energy, former Director of the Department of Environmental Quality, Oregon. Co-founder and first President of the U.S. Green Building Council. Now a speaker and consultant.
