Our CEO, Martha Amram, spoke about GLYNT’s experience in building an AI product from the ground up. Not tools, a complete product! GLYNT transforms documents into data. Our motto: “Every document deserves a (FHIR) API”.
Yep, date from documents as simple as an API call.
Here’s a sample of Martha Amram, Ph.D., CEO of GLYNT.AI’s remarks:
Over the past three and half years, our company has built an AI system to extract data from loosely structured documents such as claims forms, lab reports, invoices, and so on. Using an advanced machine learning system, GLYNT produces highly accurate results from the start. Our system is both simple to use and highly scalable.
As we built our system, we confronted a number of product decisions including: choice and deployment of supporting non-AI technologies; how the product would support various use cases and user roles; how the product would address the need for transparency and accountability from AI systems; and how the product would integrate with other technologies to produce an automated workflow. Since our product introduction in April 2019, we have signed numerous customers and become partners with leading cloud providers, technology platforms and workflow automation (RPA) companies.
It is from this base of AI experience that we provide comments in response to the RFI. Our comments will center on the use of AI for data extraction from documents, our area of expertise, but we believe our experiences are typical of AI advances made by software companies and also inform particulars of the use of AI in the healthcare ecosystem described in the RFI.
