Jan 14, 2019

GLYNT announces the release of Data Extraction as a Service: The Total Cost of Ownership, a white paper providing a detailed analysis of the cost of data extraction. The analysis compares GLYNT to AWS Textract, Zonal OCR and other technologies.

Key findings are:

  • GLYNT has the lowest TCO, averaging 56% across a number of scenarios.
  • GLYNT’s high accuracy rate, typically 98% and higher, delivers substantial savings for every level of operations from small document sets to high-volume extractions.
  • TCO for data extraction from documents is driven by the cost of errors. The study shows that the cost to fix an extraction error is 10.5X the original extraction cost.
  • GLYNT is also has the lowest TCO for data extraction using Straight-Through Processing (STP), eg with no human intervention.
